Why the shuttle beats Uber, especially in winter
Each season has its own magic (and challenges)
Warm days, all trails open, turquoise lakes at their best. But expect crowds.
Golden larches, fewer crowds, crisp air. Our favorite time to visit.
World-class skiing, frozen waterfalls, northern lights. Requires preparation.
Melting snow, wildlife emerging, unpredictable weather. Budget-friendly.
From Calgary Airport to mountain paradise
Highway 1 between Calgary and Banff sees frequent winter accidents. Black ice, sudden snowstorms, and whiteout conditions are common November through March. We strongly recommend taking the shuttle unless you have winter driving experience and proper tires (legally required Oct 1 - Apr 30).
